BSc PCM 1st Year Syllabus:

According to the New Education Policy, 2020 of the Government of India the Universities and colleges are now completing the Bachelor of Science program in semester mode. It means students have to face the examination every six months. Before this policy, students used to face the examination once in a year only. Below are given the semester-wise details of the BSc PCM program. The information will help students to understand the program in a better way.

BSc PCM 1st Semester Syllabus:

While choosing the BSc PCM program from any University or college students are always curious to know about the first-semester syllabus in detail. So for them here is the complete information which will help them understand the syllabus in a better way.
In the first semester of the BSc PCM program, students will learn about Mechanics, Thermal Physics, real analysis-I, Differential Equation & Vector Calculus, and Differential & Integral Calculus.
Apart from this students will also learn about Introduction to organic chemistry, Atomic Structure & Periodic Classification, Chemical, kinetics & electrochemistry, and Moral Value Analysis.

BSc PCM 2nd Semester Syllabus:

After completing 1st semester students have to prepare for the 2nd semester which will probably be done in the next six months. After completing this semester students will move to 2nd year. Here is the detailed information on the BSc 2nd semester program.
In the second semester, students learn about Waves and Oscillations, Electromagnetism, Algebra I, Real Analysis-II, and 3D Coordinate Geometry.
Aside from these students will also learn about Hydrocarbons, Gases, Chemical Equilibrium, Surface Chemistry, Chemical Bonding, and Nuclear Chemistry, and Physics Lab-I.

BSc PCM 2nd Year Syllabus:

After completing BSc PCM first year (2nd semester), students will enter in 2nd year. This year students have to face two semesters as 3rd and 4th. Because this is the middle of the whole program, so the value of these semesters is very important for the students.
In this year students have to face two semesters while learning different and valuable topics. Below is the mentioned 3rd and 4th-semester program information in detail.

BSc PCM 3rd Semester Syllabus:

After compiling two semesters, students have to get ready for the 3rd semester. Although the whole program is filled with valuable topics, and BSc PCM 3rd semester topics have their own value. In this semester students covered the topics like Optics, Atomic and Nuclear Physics, Statics, and Linear Algebra-I.
Not only this but, students will also get the opportunity to learn about Real Analysis-III, Main Group Elements, Alphabetic Compounds, and Thermodynamics-I and Ionic Equilibrium.
All the topics are very important so students should not skip any one of them.

BSc PCM 4th Semester Syllabus:

This is the last semester for the second year. After completing this semester students will move to the third and final year where they have to face two more semesters. In BSc PCM 4th semester, students have to learn about Modern Optics, Statistical Physics & Astrophysics, Dynamics, Linear Algebra II, and Numerical Analysis.
Apart from this students will also learn about d&f Block Elements, d&f Block Elements, Aromatic Compounds, Thermodynamic-II, Phase Equilibrium and Radiochemistry, and Physics Lab-II.

BSc PCM 3rd Year Syllabus:

BSc PCM 3rd year is also known as last year. After completing 2nd year students will get entry to this this year. Same as 1st and 2nd, this year is also filled with two semesters that are known as 5th and 6th semesters.
Because this is the final year students have to focus on this sharply. Below is given the full details about the 5th and 6th semesters. To get full information kindly read out those carefully.

BSc PCM 5th Semester Syllabus:

BSc PCM 5th semester is the second last semester of this bachelor’s degree program. In this semester students will learn several topics such as Electronics-I, Quantum Mechanics, Advance Analysis, Algebra -II, and Hydrodynamics.
The topics do not end here. Students will also get the knowledge of Solution Chemistry and Advance Electrochemistry, Natural Products, Coordination Chemistry and Isomerism, Elective-I, and Elective-II.

BSc PCM 6th Semester Syllabus:

After completing 2 years and 5 semesters students move to 6th semester. Although the value of all semesters are equal. because this is the last semester of the BSc PCM program so the value of this semester is very different to others. Like other semesters, students have to cover numerous topics here too.
At the start of the semester, students have to read about Solid State Physics, Electronics-II, Physics Lab-II, Number Theory, Partial Differential Equation, and Optimization Techniques.
And the end of BSc PCM program students have to cover some very important topics such as Advance Organic Chemistry, Photochemistry and Advanced Wave Mechanics, Spectroscopy, Elective-I, and Elective-II.
